Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 25, 2026

1. Introduction

LineTerminal ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account via our authentication provider (Clerk), we may receive your name, email address, and profile information. We do not store passwords directly — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including systems you create, filters you apply, pages you visit, and features you interact with. This data helps us improve the platform.

Device & Log Data

We automatically collect device type, browser type, IP address, operating system, and access timestamps when you visit the Service.

Chat & AI Assistant Data

When you use the Atom AI assistant, your messages and the assistant's responses are stored in your account so you can access your conversation history. Message content is also logged separately for service improvement and analytics purposes. We may review anonymized conversation data to improve response quality. No personally identifiable information is included in this review process.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To authenticate your account and manage sessions
  • To save and sync your betting systems across devices
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the user experience
  • To communicate with you about service updates or changes
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and protect against misuse

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the platform (e.g., Clerk for authentication, MongoDB Atlas for data storage, Vercel for hosting, OpenAI and Anthropic for AI assistant functionality)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental request
  • Shared Systems: If you choose to share a system via a public link, the system's filter configuration will be visible to anyone with the link. No personal information is included in shared systems.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may also use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Service. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and system configurations for as long as your account is active. Chat conversation history is retained in your account until you delete it. Chat analytics logs (message content used for service improvement) are automatically deleted after 90 days. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights

All Users

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect; request deletion of your data; opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data); and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Other State Privacy Laws

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights under their respective statutes. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
